diva sketch challenge

hi. sorry i missed both challenges this week on udi. Thursday we had a power outage because someone hit a utility pole. And the rest of the week i have been in a major cleaning mode. I put our three seasons porch back in use after it being a 'storage' spot for about the last ten years. i even painted a wall aqua and purple. :)

unfortunately, in order to get that room 'company ready' for today i had to move things into my stamp room and i can't find anything in there. next week my project is to put the stamp room back in order. cleaning is seriously overrated.

so, have a good weekend and hopefully i'll be back next week. xoxo

happy easter. i'm done. here is my last peep for this season. i can't wait until next year to make some more.

i felt the pressure today since i've been doing my peeps for several weeks and y'all seem to be enjoying them. i knew i had to come up with a good for the last one and i think (and i hope you do too) that it came out nice. though why i always try and weave dsp/cs is beyond me cuz i always have issues with it. i preservered today though because that is truly what i wanted to do for my card. for the right side strip i just scored three lines. i thought anything else would take away from my background.

why is it that when you see something in your brain it just doesn't translate down your arm, hand and fingers and come out on paper the way you want it to? that's how i feel this card came out . . . or didn't come out in this case.

i wanted to stack the eggs, but it just isn't right. sorry.

vanilla, chocolate chip, and blushing bride make up my card today for the inspiration on udi. don't know, i'm just having issues. hope my last peep on saturday goes better.

anyway, on to this week's udi sketch. relatively easy to work with once yoiu have your idea. the only thing i did was turn i sideways. hope you like it.

i bet you were wondering how i would incorporate my peep today with maria's inspiration picture on udi. never fear, i tried to create the water with the lilies for the background and plopped him down in the middle of it. hope ya like it.

i told you there were more peeps coming. haha. i love this purple. it is sooo rich and regal looking. the white is run through with the texturz plate for the big shot. i love my egg shells. what do ya think?



i'm giving you two cards today though the second one doesn't go with the sketch. it does go with the peep theme though. the poppy frame is raised up on dimensionals to allow for the room from the iris fold frame. hope ya like it. enjoy your weekend. :)
